Turn left onto Charles Helou Avenue and walk straight until you reach the Beirut Central District. You will see the downtown area with its shops and cafes.

    If you are near the American University of Beirut, take bus number 15 from the AUB bus stop. The bus will take you directly to the Beirut Central District. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at 'Downtown Beirut'. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the main square.
