Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Downtown Beirut, start at Martyrs' Square. Head northwest towards the Beirut Souks. From there, walk straight towards the Corniche, which is a scenic seaside promenade. Once you reach the Corniche, turn left and continue walking along the waterfront. You will soon see the iconic Raouche Rocks in the distance. Keep walking until you reach the main area where Sakhrat al-Rawchieh, صخرة الروشة is located. The rocks are easily visible as you approach, and you can enjoy the beautiful views along the way.

    From the Hamra district, you can take a bus or shared taxi (service) heading towards Ain el-Mreisseh. Board the bus at Hamra Street, and ask the driver to drop you off at the Corniche. Once you arrive, walk along the Corniche until you see Sakhrat al-Rawchieh, صخرة الروشة. It should take about 20 minutes in total, including the walking distance.
