Getting There

From the Hamra neighborhood, start at Hamra Street, which is the main thoroughfare. Walk westward along Hamra Street until you reach the intersection with Rue Abdallah El-Yafi. Turn left onto Rue Abdallah El-Yafi and continue straight until you reach the end of the street, where it meets the Corniche. This walk should take about 15-20 minutes.

Once you reach the Corniche, you will see the Mediterranean Sea to your right. Continue along the Corniche heading north. As you walk, you will pass several cafes and parks. Keep walking until you reach the area known for its iconic rock formations, specifically the Raouche Rocks (Sakhrat al-Rawchieh). The rocks are hard to miss, as they rise dramatically from the sea and provide a stunning view. This part of the walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local shared taxi (known as 'servees') from Hamra to Raouche. Head to the nearest taxi stand, usually located near major intersections or bus stops. Inform the driver you want to go to 'Raouche'. The fare should be around 2,000 to 5,000 LBP (Lebanese Pounds), depending on the distance and traffic. The drive will take about 10 minutes, and you will be dropped off near the Corniche, very close to the entrance to Sakhrat al-Rawchieh.
