Car
If you are traveling by car from the Beqaa Valley to Byblos Citadel, take the main road (Route 5) out of the valley. Follow the signs towards Jbeil (Byblos) for approximately 42 kilometers. As you approach Byblos, you will see signs directing you to the citadel. Once in Byblos, look for parking options nearby. The Citadel is located at coordinates 34.1198415, 35.6464656. Parking may incur a fee ranging from 1,000 to 3,000 LBP.

Public Transportation
To reach Byblos Citadel via public transport, take a bus from the Beqaa Valley to Beirut. Buses leave from various locations, including Zahle and Baalbek. Once in Beirut, find a bus heading to Byblos (Jbeil). The journey will take approximately 2 hours. Upon arriving in Byblos, you can walk to the citadel, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Ensure to check the bus schedules as they may vary. The total cost for the bus journey is typically around 10,000 LBP for the trip to Beirut and another 5,000 LBP to Byblos.
