Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Byblos Souks, head east toward the coast and take a left onto the coastal road (Rte 51). Continue walking along this road for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass the Byblos Castle on your right. Keep following the road until you see the sign for the Monastery Saydet Hawqa on your left. The monastery is situated on a hill, so you might need to follow a small path leading up to it.

    From the Byblos bus station, take a minibus heading towards Hawqa. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes.
