Walking
If you are in Byblos, start from the Byblos Souk area, which is the heart of the city. Head east on the main street, towards the Old Port. Continue walking past the Roman ruins and make your way to the main road leading out of Byblos. Follow the signs towards the mountains, specifically Qurnat as Sawda'. It is about a 30-minute walk to the base where you can find local transport options. Look for signs pointing to the mountain, as they will guide you in the right direction.
Public Transport
From the Byblos Souk area, head to the bus station located near the Old Port. Take a minibus heading towards the town of Bsharri or any bus that mentions 'Qurnat as Sawda' or 'The Cedars'. The buses are frequent, and the ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Inform the driver that you are going to Qurnat as Sawda', and they will drop you off at the nearest access point. Once you arrive, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the peak.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Byblos. The taxi drivers are familiar with Qurnat as Sawda'. Simply ask the driver to take you there.
