    Getting There

    Walking

If you are in the Byblos old souk, head towards the main square, which is known as 'Place de l'Indépendance'. From the square, look for the signs pointing towards the Byblos Citadel. Walk straight along the coastal road, passing by the marina on your left. Keep walking for about 10 minutes until you see a large stone wall on your left; this indicates that you are approaching the Citadel. The entrance is marked, and you will find it just after the wall, on your left side.

    Walking

If you are near the Byblos beach area, start walking towards the old city center. As you approach the main street, turn left and walk along this road, heading towards the old souk. Once you reach the main square (Place de l'Indépendance), follow the previous directions towards the Citadel from there.

    Walking

If you are coming from the Byblos Castle (which is adjacent to the Citadel), simply exit the castle area and head towards the sea. You will see the Citadel entrance just a short walk away. Follow the pathway along the coastline for a scenic route.

    Walking

From the Byblos Archaeological Museum, exit the museum and walk towards the main road. Head straight until you reach Place de l'Indépendance, then follow the coastal road as directed earlier towards the Citadel.
