From the Byblos old souk, head east towards the main road (Jbeil - Byblos Road). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the main coastal road (Highway 51). Turn left and continue walking along this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Smar Jbeil. After walking for about 20 minutes, you should see the entrance to Smar Jbeil Citadel on your right.

From Byblos, you can take a shared taxi (service) from the main taxi stand near the old souk. Look for a taxi heading towards Smar Jbeil. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you can ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of the Smar Jbeil Citadel.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Byblos. Start from the old souk and ride east towards the Jbeil - Byblos Road.
