From Jounieh, you can take a taxi directly to Jeita upper cave. Tell the driver 'Jeita Grotto' (جبل الجيتا) and specify that you want to go to the upper cave. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure that the driver drops you off at the main entrance of the Jeita Grotto complex.

Public Bus
You can catch a public bus from Jounieh to the Jeita Grotto. Head to the main bus station in Jounieh, often located near the waterfront or the main square. Look for a bus heading towards 'Kesserwan' or 'Jeita' and board it. The fare is usually very affordable. The bus journey will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Jeita Grotto stop, follow the signs to the entrance, which is a short walk away.

Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, you can make your way to Jeita upper cave from Jounieh. Start at the Jounieh waterfront and head northeast towards the main road (Beirut-Jounieh Highway). Follow the road signs towards Jeita. The walk is approximately 8 km and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water. The path can be steep in some areas, so be prepared for a bit of a workout!
