Public Bus
From Jounieh, make your way to the nearest bus station, which is located close to the waterfront area. Look for buses heading towards Harissa; they are usually marked with signs indicating their destination. Get on the bus and enjoy the scenic ride, which takes approximately 20-30 minutes. The bus will drop you off at a stop near the base of the hill leading to the Sanctuary. From there, follow the path leading uphill towards the Sanctuary Our Lady Of Lebanon, which is a well-signposted route.

Teleferique (Cable Car)
Head to the Jounieh Teleferique station located at the base of the mountain. You can find it near the main Jounieh waterfront area. Purchase a ticket for the cable car, which will take you directly to Harissa. The ride offers stunning views of the bay and the surrounding landscape. Once you arrive at the top, you will be right at the Sanctuary Our Lady Of Lebanon. Follow the signs to the main entrance.

Walking
If you are feeling adventurous, you can walk from Jounieh to Harissa. Start at the Jounieh waterfront and follow the coastal road heading north. After about 1.5 kilometers, take the path that leads up the hill towards Harissa. It’s a steep climb, so be prepared for a bit of a workout. The walk will take approximately 30-45 minutes, and you will be rewarded with beautiful views along the way. Once you reach Harissa, look for the signs directing you to the Sanctuary.
