Travel Guide to Saint Paul Convent

Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Jounieh. Head north on the main highway (Jounieh-Kfardebian Road) towards Harissa. Follow the signs for Harissa and the Teleferique. After about 10 minutes, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork towards Harissa. Continue on this road for about 5 minutes until you reach the area known as XJHX+JR6, where the Saint Paul Convent is located. There is limited street parking available nearby, so please be prepared to find a spot.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from Beirut to Jounieh. Once you arrive at the Jounieh bus station, look for a local minibus that says 'Harissa' on it. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off near the Teleferique station in Harissa. From there, it's a short walk to XJHX+JR6 where the Saint Paul Convent is situated. Ensure you have small change for the bus fare, which is generally around 2,000 LBP.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in Mount Lebanon directly to Saint Paul Convent. Taxis are widely available and can be hailed or booked via mobile apps. The journey from Jounieh to Harissa will take about 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, as taxis may not always use a meter. The expected cost should be around 15,000 - 25,000 LBP.
