Walking
If you are starting from the Tyre Souk (market area), exit the main market street and head south towards the beach. Once you reach the beach promenade, turn right and continue along the waterfront. After about 500 meters, you will see the entrance to the Tyre City Cisterns on your left, marked by a sign. The entrance is located at coordinates 33.2691491, 35.1960677.

From the Tyre Archaeological Site, exit the site and head northwest towards the main road (Avenue de la Liberté). Turn right onto the main road and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the Tyre City Cisterns, which will be on your right side, next to the intersection with a smaller side street.

If you are near the Tyre Public Beach, start walking inland towards the city center. After about 700 meters, you will reach the main square (Place des Martyrs). From there, take Rue de la République, which leads directly into the heart of Tyre. Continue straight for approximately 600 meters until you reach the junction where a sign for the Tyre City Cisterns will be visible. The entrance will be on your left.

If you are coming from the Tyre Castle, exit the castle grounds and head down the hill towards the main road. Once at the main road, turn left and walk for about 800 meters. You will see the Tyre City Cisterns on your right side, marked with a historical landmark sign.
