Car
From Beirut, take the highway northeast towards Jbeil (Byblos). Continue through Byblos towards Qartaba. From Qartaba, follow the signs to Afqa, approximately 20 kilometers away. The drive offers scenic mountain views. Parking is available near the site. Note that some roads may be uneven, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended. There are no tolls on this route.
Public Transport
From Beirut, take a bus or shared taxi to Jbeil. From Jbeil, local buses or shared taxis head towards Afqa. Look for vehicles marked 'Afqa' or ask locals for assistance. The bus ride from Jbeil takes approximately 30-40 minutes. From the drop-off point in Afqa, the waterfall is within walking distance. Bus fares from Beirut to Jbeil range from 100,000 to 150,000 LBP. The bus from Jbeil to Afqa will cost extra.
Walking
Upon arrival in Afqa, whether by car or public transport, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the waterfall. The walk from the main road to the waterfall is approximately 15-20 minutes. The path is scenic but can be uneven, so wear comfortable shoes.
