From Leribe, head to the main taxi rank located in the center of town. Look for a taxi or minibus heading to Semonkong. It’s important to confirm with the driver that they will stop at Maletsunyane Falls or at the nearby village of Semonkong. The journey will take about 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Semonkong, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to the Falls.
Walking from Semonkong
After being dropped off in Semonkong, you will likely need to walk the remaining distance to Maletsunyane Falls. Head towards the main road leading out of Semonkong. Follow the signs pointing towards the Falls or ask locals for directions. It is approximately a 30-minute walk from the village center to the Falls. The path is relatively straightforward, but be prepared for a bit of elevation gain as you approach the viewpoint.
