From the center of Leribe, head southwest towards the Leribe River. Locate the main road, known as the A1, and follow it south. Continue walking for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of the town. As you approach the area, you will see signs directing you towards Maqalika Dam. Follow these signs until you reach the dam area, which is situated on the left side of the road. The dam is easily recognizable by its large water body and recreational area.

From Leribe's main taxi rank, find a taxi heading towards Maseru. Inform the driver that you wish to get to Maqalika Dam. The taxi will take you along the A1 road. It usually takes around 30 minutes to reach the vicinity of the dam. Once you arrive at the drop-off point near the dam entrance, you can either walk to the dam area or ask locals for further directions if needed.
