Cross the bridge into Lesotho, following the pedestrian path. Once you are across the bridge, take a left and follow the signs for the Maqalika Dam. The path will lead you along the riverside. Keep an eye out for local signs indicating the direction to the dam. The walk should take approximately 30-40 minutes.

From Maseru City Centre, take a shared taxi (known as a 'taxi') heading towards the outskirts of the city. Make sure to ask the driver if they go to Maqalika Dam, as many taxis have set routes. Get off at the closest stop to Maqalika Dam, which is usually near the main road that leads to the dam. From there, you will need to walk for about 15 minutes following the signs towards the dam. Look for local guidance, as the area may not be well-marked.
