Getting There

Walking
From the center of Quthing, head southwest on Main Street (Mokhotlong Road). Walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, take a left onto the road towards Mateka. Continue walking for approximately 4 kilometers. You will see signs for Kome Caves along the way. As you approach, keep an eye out for the entrance on your right where the path leads to the caves. The walk should take around 1 hour.

Bicycle
If you're cycling, start from the center of Quthing and follow Main Street (Mokhotlong Road) southwest. Cycle for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction. Turn left onto the Mateka road. Continue cycling for about 4 kilometers, and look out for the signs pointing to Kome Caves. Once you see the signs, follow them to the right where the path leads up to the caves. This route is relatively flat and should take around 30-40 minutes.

Public Transport (Taxi)
From Quthing, you can take a local taxi (often referred to as a 'kombie') heading towards Mateka. Get on at the taxi rank in Quthing and inform the driver you want to go to Kome Caves. The journey will take about 20-30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off as close to the caves as possible; they should be familiar with the location. Once you get off, follow the signs leading you to the cave entrance, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from where the taxi drops you.
