From Teyateyaneng, start at the central market area. Head south on the main road (A1) towards Maseru, keeping an eye out for pedestrians and local traffic. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a junction. At the junction, turn left onto a smaller road that heads towards the hills. Follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers until you see a signpost directing you towards The Lion Rock Mountain. Continue along this path, which will take you directly to the base of the mountain. Be prepared for a hiking trail that leads up to the summit.

From Teyateyaneng, walk to the nearest taxi rank located near the central market. Board a shared taxi (also known as a 'combi') heading towards Maseru. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the stop near the entrance to The Lion Rock Mountain. The taxi ride should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you exit the taxi, look for signage that indicates the path to the mountain. Follow the signs for a short walk along a dirt road leading you to the hiking trail that ascends the mountain.
