Getting There

  • Walking

    From Lejone village, ask locals for directions to the Lepaqoa Waterfall trail near the village entrance. Follow the marked trail for approximately 2 kilometers, passing through scenic landscapes. The trail may become steep and rocky as you approach the waterfall, requiring a cautious descent. There are no entrance fees or special transport tickets required.

  • Car

    From Afriski Mountain Resort, head east on the main road for about 20 kilometers until you reach the junction at Lejone village. Turn left towards Lejone and follow the road for approximately 5 kilometers until you see signs for Lepaqoa Waterfall. The final stretch may require a 4x4 vehicle due to the rough, uneven dirt road. There are no toll roads or parking fees. The nearest petrol station is in Hlotse, approximately 1.5 hours away.

  • Public Transport

    From Leribe or Katse, take a shared taxi to the Bokong Nature Reserve visitor center. From the visitor center, follow the signs to Lepaqoa Waterfall. Shared taxis from Leribe cost around M50 (approximately $3 USD) and take about 2 hours, while from Katse, they cost around M80 (approximately $5 USD) and take about 1.5 hours. The bus between Leribe and Katse costs M35 (approximately $2 USD). From the visitor center, it's a walking distance to the waterfall.
