    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are starting from the center of Buchanan, head north on the main road, which is Benson Street. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the junction with Tubman Boulevard. At this junction, you should see several local shops and eateries. Turn left onto Tubman Boulevard and continue walking straight. After approximately 20 minutes, you will reach the end of Tubman Boulevard. From there, continue straight until you reach the junction with the Monrovia Road. The Joseph J. Roberts Monument is located a short distance ahead on your right, near a small park area.

    Bicycle

    Starting from the Buchanan Central Market, head north on Benson Street. Follow the same route as pedestrians, but keep an eye out for the designated bicycle lanes. Continue for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Tubman Boulevard. Turn left and cycle straight for another 20 minutes. After reaching the end of Tubman Boulevard, keep cycling straight until you arrive at the junction with Monrovia Road. The monument will be on your right, just a short ride ahead.

    Motorcycle taxi

    If you prefer a motorcycle taxi, you can easily find one near the Buchanan Central Market. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Joseph J. Roberts Monument. They will take you along the main roads. Expect the ride to take about 10 minutes. The driver will drop you off near the park area where the monument is located, making it a convenient option if you're not up for walking or biking.
