If you are driving from Monrovia, take the Robertsfield Highway (also known as the Monrovia–Robertsfield Road) and head northwest towards Cape Mount. Continue on the highway for about 60 kilometers until you reach the junction for Cape Mount. Turn left onto the road leading into Cape Mount, and follow the signs towards the town of Tubmanburg. Once in Tubmanburg, ask locals for directions to Lake Piso, as there are no specific road signs. The lake is approximately 20 kilometers from Tubmanburg, and the route may include unpaved roads. Ensure your vehicle has adequate clearance for potential rough terrain.

To reach Lake Piso by public transportation, you can take a shared taxi or bush taxi from Monrovia to Tubmanburg. The ride typically costs around 200 Liberian Dollars and takes about 2-3 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Once you arrive in Tubmanburg, you will need to find a motorbike taxi (also known locally as 'okada') to take you to Lake Piso. The fare for the motorbike taxi is usually around 50-100 Liberian Dollars. Be sure to negotiate the price before getting on the bike. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, and you can ask the driver to take you directly to the lakeshore.
