Getting There

Walking

From the center of Kakata, head northwest on the main road towards the Kakata City Hall. Continue straight until you reach the junction at the Liberian National Police station. Turn left here and proceed along the road until you reach the junction with the UN Drive. Take a right turn onto UN Drive and continue walking until you see the sign for Libassa Ecolodge on your left. The lodge is approximately a 30-40 minute walk from the center of Kakata.
Motorbike Taxi (Okada)

In Kakata, you can hire a motorbike taxi (locally known as 'okada') from the main market area. Inform the driver that you want to go to Libassa Ecolodge. The ride will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic, and cost around 300-500 Liberian Dollars. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the ecolodge.
Bicycle Rental

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kakata. Start at the main market and head northwest towards Kakata City Hall. Keep straight until you reach the police station junction, then turn left. Follow the road until you hit UN Drive and take a right. Libassa Ecolodge will be on your left after a short ride. The entire journey should take about 20-30 minutes depending on your cycling speed.
