Car
If driving from Monrovia, take the Robertsfield Highway southeast towards Kakata. Continue to Kakata, then take the road towards Grand Bassa County. After approximately 50 kilometers, arrive in Buchanan. Follow signs to Kpatawee Waterfall; the final 20 kilometers are on a dirt road. A vehicle with good ground clearance is recommended. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Kpatawee Waterfall via public transport from Monrovia, take a shared taxi or 'keke' (motorcycle taxi) to Kakata for around 200 LRD. From Kakata, find a shared taxi to Buchanan for approximately 500 LRD. In Buchanan, hire a local taxi or motorbike to Kpatawee Waterfall; negotiate the fare for the final 20 kilometers on a dirt road.
