Car
If you are driving from the center of Bayda, head northwest on Al-Mahdi Street towards Al-Mahdi Mosque. Continue onto the main road leading out of Bayda, which will eventually merge onto the A7 highway. Follow the A7 towards Sabratah, a journey of about 2 hours (approximately 150 km). Once you reach Sabratah, follow the local signs to the Basilica of Justinian, which is located at RF4J+W6W. There is no entrance fee to visit the site, but be mindful of parking availability nearby.
Public Transportation
From Bayda, you can take a shared taxi or a bus heading towards Sabratah. Shared taxis can be found at the main taxi stand in Bayda, and the fare should be around 20 LYD (Libyan Dinar). The journey will take about 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off near the Basilica of Justinian, as it is a well-known landmark. Once you arrive in Sabratah, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the basilica from the drop-off point.
