Best 8 Days in Oman – Perfect itinerary

This was truly one of the most beautiful trips I have ever experienced in my life. I booked this tour through the communication team at OMAN COMPASS TOURS, and the itinerary included almost all the important places and experiences that I believe should be part of a first visit to Oman. One of the highlights of this trip was our guide, Saud, who has extensive experience in tourism. He was always ready to answer all our questions, very flexible with the timing and itinerary, and genuinely cared about our safety and comfort, especially during the hike at Wadi Shab. During the trip, we had the opportunity to witness sea turtles laying their eggs for the first time, as well as baby turtles hatching. We also enjoyed a camel-riding experience in the desert, along with a special complimentary experience from the company to ride beautiful purebred Arabian horses. We had the chance to taste traditional Omani cuisine at two different restaurants, including traditional Omani Shuwa, as well as a delicious seafood bucket after an enjoyable boat trip to the Daymaniyat Islands, where we went snorkeling. We also visited several castles and forts and learned about Oman’s ancient defensive strategies and history. What made the experience even more special was that our guide took us to additional places that were not originally included in the itinerary. I consider this a major advantage of the company, as they go beyond the standard program to make the experience more enjoyable and memorable. In the evenings in Muscat, the company’s team offered us a variety of optional activities, including events, visits to shopping malls, and walks along Al Qurum Beach, which was a particularly enjoyable experience. Regarding accommodation, we stayed in a 4-star hotel in Muscat and also experienced three very different types of accommodation during the trip: a beautiful seaside resort, a camp in the heart of the desert, and a hotel located at an altitude of around 2,300 meters. Staying in three different environments on consecutive nights added a wonderful variety to the trip. Amazing Oman Tour Packages at the Most Reasonable Prices - Highly Recommended!

We (2 adults and 2 children) have just returned from our AMAZING Oman trip with this Oman Tours company providing us with bespoke multi-day Oman Tour Packages. I cannot recommend them highly enough! All our guides - Nasser, Mohamed, Waleed and Khamees were just wonderful, welcoming, knowledgeable and accommodating. It was very clear from the beginning that they wanted us to fulfill all our aims of the trip allowing us to see everything we wanted to and more. They were more than happy to take photographs and were great at showing us perfect photo opportunities that we had not thought of. From airport pick-up, Muscat City Tour, Nizwa Fort, Oman Through the Ages Museum, Jebel AlAkhdar to airport drop-off, they were exemplary. Oman Tours were the most reasonably priced, always punctual, with great communication, in air-conditioned/spacious/clean cars. If you don't see a tour advertised then contact them directly (which is what we did) and they are more than happy to oblige and also give you a few more recommendations!
