Start at the Misrata city center, near the main square. Head northeast towards Al Hara Alkabir Street. You will need to walk approximately 3 km. Follow the road signs directing you towards Tripoli. As you approach the outskirts of Misrata, you may find local cafes or shops if you need a break. Continue walking straight until you reach the main highway leading to Tripoli. Once you hit the highway, you can either continue walking or look for a local bus to take you to Tripoli. Please ensure you stay on the pedestrian paths for safety.

From the Misrata city center, locate the bus station. Buses to Tripoli run frequently, and you’ll need to purchase a ticket at the station or board the bus and pay the conductor. Inform the driver you're going to the Arc of Marcus Aurelius in Tripoli. The journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Tripoli, disembark at the main bus terminal. From there, you will need to walk towards Al Hara Alkabir Street. Use a map application on your phone or ask locals for directions if needed.
