Ascend to the summit of Pfänder mountain via the Pfänderbahn, an aerial cable car offering breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Constance, the surrounding Alps, and parts of Germany and Switzerland. A swift six-minute ride transports you to a world of hiking trails, alpine wildlife, and culinary delights.

Public Transport
From Bregenz train station, take the Line 101 bus operated by Stadtwerke Bregenz towards the Pfänderbahn. The bus stop is located directly in front of the valley station. The journey takes approximately 6-8 minutes. A single ticket costs between €1-€2.

Walking
From Bregenz train station, exit and head east on Bahnhofstraße. Continue until you reach Schillerstraße and turn left. Walk straight for about 500 meters; the Pfänderbahn valley station will be on your right. The walk is approximately 15 minutes.

Driving
From the A96 highway (Munich/Ulm), take the A14 exit Lochau and follow the L1 for approximately 4 km towards Bregenz. The Pfänderbahn is signposted. Alternatively, from Lindau, take the B12/B190 along the lake towards Bregenz. Follow signs to Pfänderbahn. Limited parking is available at Parkplatz Pfänderbahn P6 (Steinbruchgasse 4) and Parkhaus Pfänderbahn P15 (Schillerstraße 3). The first three hours of parking are free for Pfänderbahn passengers upon validation of the parking ticket at the ticket counter. After the free period, parking costs €5 per hour.
