The Alte Rheinbrücke, or Old Rhine Bridge, is a historic covered wooden bridge stretching 135 meters across the Rhine River, connecting Sevelen, Switzerland, and Vaduz, Liechtenstein. Built in 1901, it stands as the last remaining wooden bridge over the Rhine, offering pedestrians and cyclists scenic views and a unique cross-border experience.

Walking
From the Sevelen bus stop, head northeast on Rheinstrasse for approximately 1.5 kilometers. The bridge will be visible ahead, offering a pleasant walk with views of the surrounding area.
Public Transport
From Vaduz, Liechtenstein, take bus line 11, 12, 13, 21, 24 or 40. Get off at the 'Vaduz Alte Rheinbrücke' stop. The bridge is a short walk from the bus stop. Bus fares typically range from CHF 3 to CHF 5 depending on the distance.
Car
From the A13 highway, take the exit towards Sevelen. Continue on Rheinstrasse until you reach the Alte Rheinbrücke, which will be on your left. Free parking is usually available nearby, but check local signage.
