Walking
From the Heididorf car park, it's a short, approximately 5-minute walk to the entrance of Heididorf. Follow the signs leading from the parking area through the scenic surroundings to the village entrance.
Public Transport
From Maienfeld train station, you can either walk to Heididorf (approx. 40 minutes) via the Heidi Trail or take the Heidi Bus, which operates on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from May to October. A single PostBus fare within Maienfeld is approximately CHF 3. The Heidi Trail is well-marked with red "Heidiweg" signs.
Car
From the A13 motorway, take exit 13 (Maienfeld) and follow the brown "Heididorf" signs to the center of Maienfeld. From there, follow the signs with the car or bus symbol to the Heididorf car park, located near Hotel Restaurant Heidihof. Parking is available for a fee at Bovelweg 16. Parking fees vary.
