Obere Burg is located in the Hinterschloss area of Schellenberg and is easily accessible on foot from the village center. From the center of Schellenberg, follow the signs towards Hinterschloss. The walk to the castle is short. There are no entrance fees.
Public Transport
If arriving by bus, take the LIEmobil bus to Schellenberg, Post. From there, it's a short walk to the village center and then on to Obere Burg in Hinterschloss. A single LIEmobil bus ticket within Liechtenstein costs CHF 3.00. A day ticket for all zones costs CHF 12.
Driving
If driving, follow signs to Schellenberg. Parking is available in and around the village. Be mindful of local parking regulations. Parking zones are marked, with white zones offering free parking unless otherwise stated. From the village center, follow signs to Hinterschloss and Obere Burg. There are no toll roads in Liechtenstein.
