Car
From Fürstensteig, head southwest on Hauptstraße towards Landstraße. Continue on Landstraße for about 2 kilometers until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit onto Rheinstrasse. Follow this road for approximately 3 kilometers, and you will see the Alte Rheinbrücke on your left. There is parking available nearby, but be cautious of any parking restrictions.
Public Transportation
From Fürstensteig, walk to the nearest bus stop, Fürstensteig, Post. Board the bus number 11 heading to Buchs. After about a 15-minute ride, get off at the stop Sevelen, Post. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the Alte Rheinbrücke. Head northeast on Rheinstrasse for 800 meters, and the bridge will be on your right. Note that a bus ticket costs around CHF 3.50.
Walking
If you are already in Fürstensteig and prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route. Start by heading southeast on Hauptstraße towards Landstraße. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Landstraße and continue for another 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bridge. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes.
