Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by heading east on Fürstensteig towards Triesenberg. Continue straight for approximately 4 kilometers until you reach the village of Triesenberg. Look for signs directing you to Malbun and follow them. Once you reach Malbun, find a suitable parking area. The Forscherweg Malbun trailhead is located at the end of the parking area. Please note that parking may incur a fee depending on the season.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take the bus from Fürstensteig to the nearest bus station in Triesenberg. Look for bus line 21, which runs regularly from Fürstensteig to Malbun. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Malbun bus stop, follow the signs to the Forscherweg Malbun trailhead, which is a short walk from the bus stop. The hike is approximately 4 km and takes about an hour. Follow the road signs leading to Malbun. Once you reach Malbun, you will find the Forscherweg trailhead at the end of the main parking area.
