Walking
From the Vaduz Post Office, head north on Städtle (the main pedestrian street). Most attractions, including the Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein, the Liechtenstein National Museum, and the Red House, are within a 10-15 minute walk. To reach Vaduz Castle, follow the signs uphill from the center of town. The walk takes about 20 minutes and offers scenic views.
Public Transport
LIEmobil buses connect Vaduz to other towns in Liechtenstein and neighboring regions. From the Sargans or Buchs train stations in Switzerland, take bus #11 or #12 to Vaduz. From Feldkirch in Austria, take bus #11 or #14. A single LIEmobil bus fare within Vaduz is approximately CHF 2-3. Consider using the Fairtiq app for ticketless travel. Taxi
Taxis are available in Vaduz, but they are more expensive than public transport. A 5km taxi ride within Vaduz costs approximately CHF 6.60. You can hail a taxi on the street or use a ride-hailing app. Local cab services are also available for residents, costing CHF 5.00 per journey.
Driving
If driving, be aware that parking in the center of Vaduz is limited and mostly paid. You can use parking spaces such as 'Parkplatz Zentrum', 'Parkhaus Zentrum' and 'Parkplatz Äule' for short stays up to three hours. For longer stays, 'Parkhaus Marktplatz' is available.
