Car

If you are driving to Gafleisattel, start by heading towards the city of Vaduz. From Vaduz, take the L26 road towards Schaan. Continue on L26 until you reach the signs for Silum. Follow the signs for Silum, which is situated just above Schaan. Once you arrive in Silum, look for parking areas near the trailhead. Be mindful of any parking fees that may apply, typically around CHF 2-5 for a day. After parking, follow the marked trails leading towards Gafleisattel, which is approximately a 30-minute hike uphill.

Public Transportation

Take the bus from Vaduz to Schaan, which runs frequently. You can take Bus Line 11 or 12, and the journey takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the Schaan stop, then transfer to Bus Line 15 towards Silum. This bus will take you closer to the trailhead. After getting off the bus, there may be a short walk to the trail entrance. The total cost for the bus ride is usually around CHF 3-5 one way. Once you reach the trailhead, follow the signs for Gafleisattel, approximately a 30-minute uphill hike.

Hiking

If you are already on the Gnalp Trail, make your way towards the marked paths leading to Gafleisattel. Ensure you have a map or a GPS-enabled device to guide you. The hike from the nearest point on the Gnalp Trail to Gafleisattel will take about 30 minutes and involves moderate elevation.
