Car

From Malbun, head east on the Hauptstraße (Main Road) towards the town of Balzers. Continue for approximately 6 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the L30 road. Turn left onto L30 and follow the signs to the ski area of Malbun. After about 3 kilometers, look for the signs directing you towards Bettlerjoch. Park in the designated parking area near the Bettlerjoch trailhead. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around €5 for the day.

Public Transportation

Begin your journey at the Malbun bus stop. Take bus line 21 towards Balzers. After approximately 15 minutes, disembark at the Balzers stop. From Balzers, you will need to change to bus line 22, which will take you to the Bettlerjoch trailhead. The total travel time is about 30-40 minutes, depending on connections. Keep in mind that bus tickets typically cost around €2-€4, depending on the distance.

Hiking

If you prefer a more adventurous approach, you can hike from Malbun to Bettlerjoch. Start at the Malbun tourist office and take the marked hiking trail towards Bettlerjoch. The hike will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Ensure you wear suitable hiking shoes and carry enough water and snacks. The trail is well-marked, and you will be rewarded with stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
