Getting there

Car

From Malbun, head southwest on the main road (Route 3) towards the town of Balzers. Follow the signs for Balzers, which is approximately a 10-minute drive. Once in Balzers, continue straight until you reach the junction with Route 15. Turn left onto Route 15 and follow the road for about 5 km until you reach Triesen. In Triesen, look for signs indicating Valünatal, which is located near the end of the road. There is no parking directly in Valünatal, but you can park in designated areas nearby.

Public Transportation

From Malbun, take the bus service (Bus Line 21) towards Vaduz. The bus stop is located near the Malbun cable car station. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'Vaduz, Post' stop. From there, transfer to Bus Line 22 towards Triesen and ride for about 10 minutes until you reach the 'Triesen, Post' stop. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to Valünatal, following the signs. Ensure to check the bus timetable for return trips, as the service may be limited in the evening.

Walking

If you're feeling adventurous and want to hike to Valünatal from Malbun, start by walking down the main road towards Balzers. Follow the hiking trails indicated on local maps, which will take you through some beautiful landscapes. The hike will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to wear good hiking shoes and carry water with you, as there are no facilities along the way.
