Chairlift
The most direct way to reach Sareis is via the Sareis chairlift from Malbun. Note that the Sareis chairlift is out of service until July 31, 2025, due to a general overhaul. During this period, a replacement service with minibuses is available from Malbun to Sareis. Check the Bergbahnen Malbun website for the minibus timetable. A ride on the Sareis chairlift typically costs CHF 16 for adults. With the "ALL INCLUSIVE Adventure Pass", the ascent and descent with the Sareis chairlift is free.

Public Transport
From the Vaduz Post bus station, take bus number 21 towards Malbun. The bus journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Get off at the Malbun Zentrum stop, which is the closest to the Sareis chairlift valley station. From there, it's a short walk to the chairlift. Bus tickets can be purchased directly on the bus. A single journey from Vaduz to Malbun costs around CHF 4.

For those who enjoy hiking, well-marked trails lead from Malbun village to Sareis. The hike is steep and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your fitness level.
