Getting there

Car

From the Sareis Trail, drive south towards Vaduz by taking the main road (A13). Follow the signs for Vaduz, which will lead you directly to the town. Once you arrive in Vaduz, look for parking options near the city center. The closest parking area is near the Vaduz Post Office, where you can park your car for a small fee (approximately CHF 1.50 per hour). After parking, walk towards Bergstrasse, where you will see signs directing you to Vaduz Castle. It is about a 15-minute walk uphill from the parking area.

Public Transportation

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from the nearest bus stop to the Sareis Trail. Check the local bus schedules for routes heading to Vaduz. The journey may take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on the bus frequency. Once you arrive at the Vaduz bus station, exit the bus and follow the signs towards the city center. From there, walk towards Bergstrasse, where you will find signs for Vaduz Castle. The castle is about a 20-minute walk uphill from the bus station.

Walking

If you are feeling adventurous and are already on the Sareis Trail, you can hike directly to Vaduz Castle. Start your descent towards Vaduz, following the marked hiking trails. The hike will take approximately 1-1.5 hours, and you will enjoy beautiful views of the valley. Once you reach Vaduz, head towards Bergstrasse to find the castle. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and bring water for the hike.
