Discover native wildlife and scenic trails at Wildpark Feldkirch, a free, family-friendly nature escape in Vorarlberg.
Wildpark Feldkirch, established in 1963, is a beloved family destination set on the Ardetzenberg mountain in Feldkirch, Austria. Originating from the idea of showcasing native animals, the park has grown to house around 170 animals from 26 species in spacious enclosures that mimic their natural habitats. Visitors can observe animals such as deer, wild boar, lynx, wolves and various bird species. The park is not only a place to observe wildlife but also aims to educate visitors about the importance of conservation. Interactive exhibits and feeding sessions offer engaging experiences for children, making it an ideal family outing. A large playground nestled in the forest provides a space for children to play. For those interested in hiking, scenic trails around the Ardetzenberg offer breathtaking views of the Vorarlberg region. The Kiosk, managed by Lebenshilfe Vorarlberg, provides valuable employment opportunities for people with and without disabilities, offering regional snacks and meals. The park is open year-round, and while admission is free, donations are welcome to support the park's preservation and expansion.
