Car
If you are driving from Kaunas, take the A1 highway towards Vilnius. After approximately 10 kilometers, take the exit towards Kaunas Lagoon Regional Park (signs may say 'Kauno Marios'). Continue on the road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the park entrance at Miškininkų g. 2, 53106 Vaišvydava. There is parking available at the entrance, but check for any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
From Kaunas city center, you can take bus number 29 towards 'Žemaičių plentas'. The bus departs from the main bus station. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 'Vaišvydava' stop. From there, it’s a 15-minute walk to the park entrance. Follow the signs directing you towards Miškininkų g. 2, where the park is located. Always check the latest bus schedules as they may vary.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike in Kaunas. Follow the cycling paths that lead towards the A1 highway exit for the Kaunas Lagoon Regional Park. It's approximately a 12-kilometer ride, which should take about 45 minutes to an hour. Ensure you have a bike lock, as you will need to secure your bike at the park entrance.
