Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of Kaunas. Head southwest on Maironio g. toward Vytauto pr. Continue onto Vytauto pr. and follow the signs for A1. Merge onto A1 and continue for about 5 km. Take the exit toward Kaunas City Center and continue straight. Turn left onto Pilies g. The park entrance will be on your right. There is free parking available nearby.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From Kaunas city center, you can take bus number 21 or 23, which will take you directly to the stop named 'Pilies'. The journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you exit the bus, walk down Pilies g. towards the park entrance, which is just a short 5-minute walk.

• Public Transportation (Tram)

  Although there are no direct trams to the park, you can take tram number 1 or 2 from the city center to the 'Maironio' stop. From there, transfer to bus number 21 or 23 as mentioned above. This combined method may take around 30-40 minutes in total.

• Walking (from nearby locations)

  If you are staying in nearby hotels or attractions, walking to the park can be a pleasant experience. From the center of Kaunas, it is approximately a 25-minute walk. Head southwest on Maironio g., continue to Vytauto pr., and turn onto Pilies g. The park entrance is located at the end of Pilies g. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes!
