Getting There

    If you're driving from central Kaunas, take Maironio Street heading north towards the Vytautas the Great Bridge. Cross the bridge, and continue straight onto S. Daukanto Street. Follow the signs for the A1 highway towards Vilnius. After approximately 3 km, look for signs indicating Nemunas Island. You will find a parking area nearby where you can leave your car. Note that parking may incur a small fee, so have some change ready.

    To reach Nemunas Island via public transport, head to the nearest bus or trolleybus stop in Kaunas. You can take bus number 16 or trolleybus number 1, which both bring you closer to the area.
