Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from central Kaunas, head northeast on Maironio g. towards Laisvės al. Follow signs for A1. Merge onto A1 and continue for about 5 kilometers. Take the exit toward Kaunas Centre and merge onto Jonavos g. After approximately 1 km, turn right onto A. Jakšto g. The amphitheater will be on your left at A. Jakšto g. 1. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of parking regulations to avoid fines.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Kaunas castle amphitheater via public transport, you can take bus number 29 or 30 from Kaunas Bus Station. Board the bus and ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the 'Katedra' stop. From there, walk about 500 meters northeast along Maironio g. until you reach A. Jakšto g. Turn left on A. Jakšto g., and the amphitheater will be on your left at A. Jakšto g. 1. Bus fares typically cost around €1.00.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or using a rideshare service like Bolt or Uber. If you are in the central area, simply request a ride to A. Jakšto g. 1, and the driver will take you directly to the amphitheater. The fare should be around €6-€10, depending on your starting location and traffic conditions.

• Walking

  If you are already in the nearby area and prefer to walk, from the Kaunas Castle, head southeast on Maironio g. for about 300 meters. Turn right onto A. Jakšto g. and continue for another 200 meters. The amphitheater will be located on your left at A. Jakšto g. 1. This is a scenic route that allows you to enjoy the charming streets of Kaunas.
