  • Car

    If you are driving from Kaunas city center, head southwest on Maironio g. towards Laisvės al. Continue on Laisvės al. to the intersection with S. Daukanto g. Turn right onto S. Daukanto g. and follow it until you reach the bridge over the Nemunas River. Cross the bridge and follow the signs for Nemunas Island. There is parking available near the entrance to the island, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around €1 per hour.

    To reach Nemunas Island by public transportation, take bus number 12 from Kaunas city center (stop: Kauno autobusų stotis) towards Ringaudai. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes and get off at the stop named 'Nemuno sala'. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance of the island. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket machine at the bus station or directly from the bus driver, costing around €1.50.
