Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the center of Kaunas, start at the Town Hall Square (Rotušės aikštė). From the square, head northeast towards Maironio Street. Continue walking along Maironio Street until you reach the intersection with Laisvės alėja. Turn left onto Laisvės alėja, a pedestrian street lined with shops and cafes. Walk straight for about 800 meters, and you will see a park area on your right. Fontanas Laimės šulinys is located in this park. Look for the fountain which is situated near a small pond.

• Public Transport

  From the Kaunas Central Bus Station, take bus number 5 heading towards the 'Maironio' bus stop. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Maironio' stop and walk straight ahead to reach Laisvės alėja. Turn left and continue walking for about 500 meters. You will find Fontanas Laimės šulinys in the park on your right.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations around Kaunas. Start from the Nemunas River promenade and head towards the city center. Ride along the river until you reach the junction with Laisvės alėja. Turn right onto Laisvės alėja and continue straight for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see the park with Fontanas Laimės šulinys on your right as you approach the center.
