If you are in the city center, start at the Town Hall Square (Rotušės aikštė). From the square, head east towards Maironio Street (Maironio g.). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Laisvės alėja. Turn left onto Laisvės alėja and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by shops and cafes. As you approach the end of Laisvės alėja, keep an eye out for Vytauto Didžiojo tiltas (Vytautas the Great Bridge) on your left, near the confluence of the Nemunas and Neris rivers.
