    If you are in the city center, start at the Town Hall Square (Rotušės aikštė). From the square, head southeast on Maironio Street (Maironio g.) towards Laisvės alėja. Continue straight onto Laisvės alėja, a pedestrian street. Walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with K. Donelaičio Street (K. Donelaičio g.). Turn left onto K. Donelaičio Street, and after about 300 meters, you will find Vytautas the Great War Museum on your right at K. Donelaičio g. 64.

    From the city center, head to the nearest bus or trolleybus stop. Take trolleybus number 1 or 3 from the 'Maironio' stop towards 'Paleičiai'. Get off at the 'K. Donelaičio' stop.
