Getting There

• Public Transport

  If you are starting from the city center, make your way to the nearest bus stop. The 'Maironio' bus stop is a good starting point. From here, take bus number 31 in the direction of 'Aleksotas'. The journey will take about 20 minutes. After you arrive at the 'Aleksotas' bus stop, exit the bus and walk down the street towards the Aleksotas Observation Deck. Follow the signs pointing to the observation deck, which will lead you uphill. The deck is located on top of a hill, offering stunning views of Kaunas.

  If you prefer to walk from the city center, head towards the Nemunas River. Walk along the riverbank to the 'Žalgirio Arena' area. From there, you can take the pedestrian bridge over the river to the Aleksotas side. Once you cross, follow the path leading uphill towards the observation deck. It's about a 30-minute walk, so wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the scenic views along the way.

  For a more direct route, you can use a taxi or ride-sharing service like Bolt or Uber. Simply input 'Aleksotas Observation Deck' as your destination, and your driver will take you directly to the site. The drive from the city center should take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
