From the Kaunas city center, head to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Laisvės al. (Liberty Avenue)'. Take bus number 20 or 21 towards 'Palemonas'. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. After getting off the bus at the 'Palemonas' stop, walk towards Kauko al. (Kaukas Street). The Kaukas stairs are located at Kauko al. 5, just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

Walking

If you are starting from the central area of Kaunas, such as the Town Hall Square, walk towards Laisvės al. (Liberty Avenue) and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Vytauto prospektas. Turn left onto Vytauto prospektas and walk until you reach the bus stop 'Palemonas'. From here, you can take bus number 20 or 21 as described above. If you prefer to walk the entire way, continue on Vytauto prospektas until you reach Kauko al. Follow Kauko al. for about 15-20 minutes, and you'll arrive at the Kaukas stairs.

Taxi or Rideshare

You can also opt for a taxi or rideshare service like Bolt or Uber to get to Kaukas stairs. Simply enter 'Kauko al. 5, Kaunas' as your destination in the app. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes from the city center, depending on traffic.
