If you are starting from the Town Hall Square (Rotušės aikštė), head east on Maironio Street (Maironio g.), which is the main pedestrian thoroughfare. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with K. Donelaičio Street. Turn left onto K. Donelaičio Street (K. Donelaičio g.). The Freedom Monument will be on your right after a short walk, approximately 500 meters from the Town Hall Square.

From the Vytautas the Great War Museum (Vytauto Didžiojo karo muziejus), exit the museum and turn right onto K. Donelaičio Street (K. Donelaičio g.). Walk straight for about 300 meters. The Freedom Monument will be located on your left side, just past the intersection with Maironio Street.

If you are further away, you can take a local bus. Head to the nearest bus stop and look for buses that head towards 'Žaliakalnis' or 'Centras'. Alight at the 'Laisvės al. / Maironio g.' stop. From there, walk east along Maironio Street (Maironio g.) and take a left onto K. Donelaičio Street (K. Donelaičio g.). The Freedom Monument will be approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Please check for any bus fare which typically costs around 1 Euro.
